1.1 Important Information
ATTENTION!
Work on the heat pump may be carried out only by authorised and
qualified persons. Observe accident prevention regulations!
ATTENTION!
When transporting the heat pump, ensure that it is not tilted more than
45° (in any direction).
ATTENTION!
The heat pump may only be started up as part of the integrated and filled
water circulation!
ATTENTION!
In addition, the heat pumpmust not be set up in rooms which are subject
to explosion hazards through gasses, vapours or dust; furthermore,
adequate and unobstructed air supply and discharge must be ensured for
the setup location. (Allow for sufficient space for air hoses)
ATTENTION!
An external electrical heating support must be equipped with a safety
temperature limiter.
ATTENTION!
Ensure water does not come into contact with the operator controls.
Unplug the mains plug and switch off the power supply before beginning
any cleaning work.
ATTENTION!
We recommend the installation of a suitable corrosion protection system
to prevent the formation of deposits (e.g. rust) in the condenser of the
heat pump.
ATTENTION!
Risk of injury through fins with sharp edges and coasting fan wheel!

1.2 Legal Regulations and Safety
Information
The construction and design of the heat pump complies with all
relevant EU directives and DIN regulations (see also CE de-
claration of conformity).
The technician must ensure that the refrigerant is flushed ade-
quately to allow maintenance and repair work to be carried out on
refrigerant circuit components without risk. Refrigerant must be
properly handled and disposed of; it must not be released into
the environment! (The refrigerant R134a is CFC-free, non-in-
flammable and not ozone depleting.)
The refrigerant circuit is "hermetically sealed" and contains the
fluorinated refrigerant R134a with a GWP value of 1300, incorpo-
rated in the Kyoto protocol.
Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out any
work on the heat pump.
When connecting the heat pump to the power supply, the rele-
vant VDE, EN and IEC standards are to be fulfilled. Furthermore,
the technical connection conditions of the public utility compa-
nies must be observed.
1.3 Intended Use
This device is only intended for use as specified by the manufac-
turer. Any other use beyond that intended by the manufacturer is
prohibited. This requires the user to abide by the manufacturers
product information. Please refrain from tampering with or alter-
ing the device.
