Instruction Manual for TRAVEL COOL
Group II+III

The car seat "Travel cool" can only be installed in vehicles which are
equipped with a 3-points belt system (Pic. 1). The belt system must
correspond to regulation ECE – 16 or similar. The installation must always
be effected in forward-facing direction (Pic. 3). The car seat is used with
backrest and headrest.

ATTENTION:
• This is a "Universal" child restraint. It is approved to European Standard
ECE 44 / 04 for general use in vehicles and will fit most, but not all car seats.
• The correct fit of the seat is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared
in the manual that the vehicle is capable of accepting "a universal child
restraint for this age group".
• This child restraint has been classified as "universal" under more stringent
conditions than those applied to earlier designs, which do not have
this notice.
• In case of doubts, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or
the retailer.

Mounting Guidelines
• The car seat can be installed either on the front or the back seat of the
vehicle. In any case the mounting must be effected in forward-facing
direction. Fix the car seat using the car's 3-points belt system so that
the child car seat fits to the backrest of the car's seat (Pic. 3).
• The backrest of the child car seat must be installed vertically to the seat
part and should not be inclined backward (Pic. 4). Make sure that the
belt system is not twisted and that no parts are jammed in the car door.

How to secure the child on the car seat
Group II and III
• First run the lap belt under the two nibs of the booster seat and lock it in
the buckle.(Pic.7) Pay attention to the belt, it should not be twisted.
• The headrest (A) should afterwards be adjusted according to the child's
height by pulling up or down (Pic. 5).

• Make sure that the headrest should be in an appropriate height,
but not too low or too high.(Pic.6)
Important: Always adjust at head level.(Never remove the headrest as
this could endanger the safety.
