Display backlight setting
1. During video recording, you can turn off the backlight by long
pressing M.
2. Long press [M] again to turn on the backlight.
5.6 Copying music files to the device
Note
The device can only play files stored in the MUSIC folder on the
device. Copy all of your music files to the MUSIC folder and do not
use subfolders.
1. Make sure the device contains a microSD card.
2. Connect the device to the computer with the USB cable
provided.
3. Two removable disk icons will be displayed on your computer:
o one is the built-in memory disc
o the other is the card memory disc.
4. You can now copy files from your computer to the device.
Note
If the device is connected to your computer without microSD card,
you will not be able to open the card memory disc icon.

Deleting files

Note
A file cannot be restored once it is deleted, please back up any
important data before deletion. Do not power off the device while
deleting files.
To start the device:
1. Set the Record/Play button [2] to play position (down)
Press and hold ►║ on the front panel to turn on the device.

3. Press to select the type of file you want to delete.
- Select Audio for music files
- Select Audio Record for recorded audio
- Select Video Recorder for recorded video
4. Press [M] to enter the playlist.
5. Press to select the file you want to delete.
6. Press [M] again to view options. The options are:
o [Delete from list]: deletes the current file;
o [Delete all from list]: deletes all files.
7. Press to select Yes and press [M].
