Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
The appliance is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Never
leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of children or
persons in need of supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Use the unit only for processing foodstuffs.
The blade is very sharp! Handle with care.
If the unit or the power cable is damaged, the unit must not be operated any
further, but should be repaired by a professional.
Do not lead the cable around sharp corners or over hot surfaces.
The device is not intended for continuous professional operation. The device is
intended to be used in closed rooms only and in similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not consid-
ered as intended use.
Place the unit on a level surface during use. Do not place the unit in a sink, on
a drip board or on any inclined surfaces.
Do not use the unit outdoors or close to open flames, heaters or other hot
objects or other heat sources. Never fill in the jar boiling ingredients.
Pull the power cord and turn off the unit before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning the unit.
Never pull on the power cable, but grasp the plug itself to unplug. Avoid
handling with wet hands.
Before cleaning or storing the unit, allow it to cool down.
To avoid spilling do not overfill the glass jar. Always place the lid on the glass
jar before starting the unit.
