Connection and operation
Read and follow all instructions included in the user manual for each device
to be connected.
Turn off all devices to be connected and disconnect their mains plug from
the wall socket.
When choosing a cable, please note that there are different types of HDMI cables.
In case of doubt, consult a professional for further information.
The product supports 3D playback.
4K x 2K or 3D playback requires a playback device and an output device that
support these standards.
Use a high-speed HDMI cable for playback of 3D signals with a bandwidth
of >225 MHz or with a resolution of 4K x 2K.
• If needed, attach the provided rubber feet to the bottom of the device.
• Place the product on a stable, flat and horizontal surface.
• Connect a playback device (e.g. Blu-ray player) to the HDMI input.
You may also connect an MHL-compatible mobile device to the HDMI input using
a suitable cable.
• Connect a TV or monitor to the HDMI output.
• Connect a sound system to the RCA output.
• Connect a sound system to the TOSLINK output.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the power adapter to the power connection.
• Connect the power adapter to a suitable household power outlet.
• Connect the connected devices to the power supply. Then turn on all connected devices and
start playback. If necessary, select the proper input on the TV/monitor/audio amplifier.
• Use the slide switch to select the audio output mode.
Refer to the chapter "Audio output mode" below.
• Press the ARC button to activate/deactivate the ARC function.
ARC = Audio Return Channel
Using ARC, you can connect a game console to the TV and transfer the audio
signal to an amplifier via this product.
The TV must support the ARC function.

Maintenance and cleaning
• Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the connected devices and unplug it from the
power outlet.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/
dismantle the product.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much pressure
to the housing as this may cause scratch marks.
• You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
