attenuator module, the connectors ensure favorable,
low-reflection operating conditions.
Wavelengths and test adapters
Excellent linearity is achieved across the entire
attenuation range through individual calibration of each
device based on the attenuation filter characteristics.
The OLA-55 is calibrated in the factory at wavelengths of
1310, 1550, and 1625 nm, the OLA-54 at 850 and
1200 nm. The attenuators are looped into the test
configuration using test adapters which are available for
all common connector systems (e.g. DIN, FC, ST).
Power supply and interface
The OLA-54/-55 can be powered either by batteries (4 x
AA dry or rechargeable) or by the AC Adapter/Charger.
