These instructions apply to the LED and/or motor and/or heater control of the PALAZZO
These instructions contain all relevant assembly and operation information. For further information, see the instructions of the component
manufacturer (Teleco Automation GmbH), which shall be considered an integral part of these instructions.
1. Safety instructions
• Please read and understand these instructions before assembly or
operation. Please keep this manual for later reference.
• Failure to follow these safety instructions and instructions for in-
stallation and use could result in serious personal injury and damage
to materials, for which the manufacturer assumes no responsibility.
• Connection to the electrical supply network and initial operation must
only be performed by a qualified electrician. Locally applicable
regulations must be adhered to!
• The sunshade must not be operated by children or by persons with
reduced physical or mental capabilities. The remote control must be
kept out of reach of such persons.
• Do not allow children to play with the sunshade or accessories.
• Before opening or closing the sunshade, check that there are no
obstructions in the way.
• Opening and closing of the sunshade must be supervised.
• The sunshade and accessories must be checked regularly for damage
or excessive wear and tear. Any defects should be rectified before
further use.
• Only use original Glatz accessories and spare parts to ensure safety,
complete comfort and proper functioning.

• The symbol with the crossed out wheelie bin means that within the
European Union the product must be disposed of separately. This
applies to the product and all accessories which
have this symbol.
Products with this symbol may not be disposed of
with normal household waste, but must be taken to
a recycling centre for electric and electronic devices.
Recycling helps to reduce consumption of raw
material and to protect the environment.
2. Assembly and Commissioning
Each remote control is provided factory - set to the corresponding sunshade.
If another configuration is desired ( e.g. several sunshades reacting to
the same remote control ), then one should follow the instructions of the
component manufacturer ( Elero GmbH ).
The relevant schemas, assembling and operating instructions, as well as
the standard programming, are found on our Intranet under the heading

2.1 Electrical connection
2.1.1 Main line
The supply line has to be provided on site. It has to be possible to
disconnect it for installation and maintenance purposes and to protect it
against unintentional reactivation.
Connection values for systems without heater:
- 230 V~ P + N + PE, 50 Hz, 10 A, max. 300 W
Connection values for systems with heater:
- 400 V~ 3P + N + PE, 50 Hz, 16 A, max. 4 × 1500 Watt
- 230 V~ P + N + PE, 50 Hz, 16 A, max. 2 × 1500 Watt
- 230 V~ P + N + PE, 50 Hz, 16 A, max. 2 × 1500 Watt / 20 A, max. 4 × 1000 Watt
Connect the supply line to the sunshade using the provided connector. The
connector can be stored in the support tube or in the ground socket.

2.1.3 Connection of LED strips

Royal)
Pass the cable of the LED strip through the distribution slide and connect it
to the corresponding connector (5-wire, according to diagram).
The grommet must previously be pierced using a sharp object.
