Only use with corresponding power.

Minimum amount of water for boiling 0.3L.
Never fill the kettle or the funnel above the
maximum mark.
•
Only use tap water. Do not heat anything in the
kettle i.e. instant drinks, soups or milk.
•
Caution! Keep the appliance out of the reach
of children. Beware of trailing leads.
•
Never immerse the jug or base in water; do not
allow electrical components to come into
contact with water.
•
Do not place on hot surfaces, near a heat
source or leave in direct sunlight.
•
Do not allow the lead to come into contact
with sources of heat or damaged on sharp
edges.
•
After boiling only lift the kettle by the handle.
•
Do not boil the kettle without the funnel or lid
being in position, otherwise the automatic cut-
off is not activated.
•
Make sure that the funnel is positioned
securely in the funnel guide (9).
•
The appliance is not suitable for continuous
operation without including cooling phases.
•
Do not place the appliance in the refrigerator.
•
The appliance may only be used with the base
provided.
•
This appliance is designed for domestic use
and for typical domestic quantities.
UK Plug Safety Points
For your convenience this appliance is fitted with
a plug incorporating a 13-amp fuse. In the event
of replacing a fuse in the plug supplied, a 13-amp
fuse approved by ASTA to BS1362 must be used.
Warning: Please dispose of a plug that has been
cut from a lead as it could be hazardous if
inserted into a live 13 A socket outlet elsewhere in
the house. If the fuse cover is detachable, never
use the plug with the cover removed.

Fitting a Plug
Warning: this appliance must be earthed.
Important: The wires of the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green/Yellow for Earth, Blue for Neutral,
Brown for Live.
As these colours may not correspond with the
colour markings sometimes used to identify the
terminals, connect as follows: The wire coloured
green and yellow must be connected to the
terminal marked E, or by the Earth symbol or
coloured Green / Green, Yellow.
The wire coloured Blue must be connected to the
terminal marked N or coloured Black. The wire
colour Brown must be connected to the terminal
marked L or Red.
