Troubleshooting

By purchasing this charging device you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of
the art and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur. This is why we would like to describe here, how possible
problems can be solved:
Problem:
No function or no display
Solution:
- Is the device turned on?
- Is the mains plug connected to the mains socket?
- Check the mains socket by using another electric device.
Problem:
The ventilator does not work.
Solution:
- Immediately switch off the device and send it in for repairs.
Problem:
No battery identified
Solution:
- Did you observe the polarity of the battery?
- Are the contacts (of the charging device and/or battery) contaminated?
Problem:
Wrong or implausible values on the display
Solution:
- You replaced the batteries while the device was switched off. This results in false charging capacities
(C) or discharging capacities (D) and can also damage the battery.
Problem:
ERROR display for inserted battery
Solution:
- The battery voltage is too high (battery possibly inserted)
- Battery voltage too low (defect battery)
- Discharge deep discharged battery with discharge or check
- Hardware error detection of the device: charge a functional battery in the same slot. If the error is
detected again, the device is to be repaired.
