• Please contact a qualified expert if you are unsure about the safety and correct
use of the system components.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil / bags etc.
can become a dangerous toy for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, discon-
nect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- it does not function any longer and
- after it was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- after it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employ-
er's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materi-
als are to be observed.
• The camera, receiver and the plug in mains power unit provided are suitable for
operation in dry, closed rooms only.
• You may only use the enclosed mains power units to supply the system with
electricity.
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnect-
ed from all power sources.
• Never connect or disconnect mains power units if your hands are wet.
• Never pull at the cable of the mains power unit. Always grip the power unit's
housing to unplug it!
• When installing / mounting the appliance, make sure that the connection cable
is neither pinched nor damaged by sharp edges.
• Remove the mains power unit from the wall socket if the device is not in use
for a longer period of time.
• Always pull the mains power unit out of the mains socket before cleaning the
camera or receiver.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the mains power supply units from the
mains socket during thunderstorms.
• Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. In such cases, disconnect the
appliance from the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour liquids into electrical devices. This would cause a serious danger of
fire or electric shock. If such a case occurs, nonetheless disconnect the mains
power unit from the mains socket immediately and consult an expert.
