Checking and Adjusting Basic Adjustment
Before all work on the machine, pull the mains
plug.
To ensure precise cuts, the basic adjustment must be
checked and adjusted as necessary after intensive us
age.
Angle Indicator (Horizontal)

Place the machine in the working position.
Pull the lever 14 and rotate the saw table 17 to the de
tent 16 for 0°. Release the lever. The lever must audi
bly engage in the detent.
Checking:
The angle indicator 15 must be in alignment with the
0° mark of the scale 10.
Adjusting:
Loosen the screw 44 with a commercially available
Phillips screwdriver and align the angle indicator along
the 0° mark.
Bevel Angle 0° (Vertical)
Place the electro tool in the transport position.
Rotate the saw table 17 to the detent 16 for 0°.
Checking: (see Figure
Place a combination square set to 90° on the saw ta
ble 17. The leg of the square must be flush with the
saw blade over its entire length.
Adjusting: (see Figure
Loosen the clamping handle 34. Loosen the locking
nut of the stop bolt 24 with the open ended spanner
37 (12 mm) provided. Turn the stop bolt either in or
out until the leg of the combination square is flush with
the saw blade over its entire length.
Retighten the clamping handle 34. Then retighten the
locking nut of the stop bolt 24.
In case the angle indicator 45 is not aligned with the 0°
mark on the scale 50, loosen the screw 46 with a com
mercially available Phillips screwdriver and align the
angle indicator with the 0° mark.

Bevel Angle 45° (Vertical)
Place the machine in the working position.
Rotate the saw table 17 to the detent 16 for 0°. Loos
en the clamping handle 34. Swing the tool arm with the
handle 6 until the tool arm rests on the stop bolt 23.
Checking: (see Figure
Set the combination square to 45° and place it on the
saw table 17. The leg of the square must be flush with
the saw blade over its entire length.
Adjusting: (see Figure
Loosen the locking nut of the stop bolt 23 with the
open ended spanner 37 (SW 12) provided. Turn the
stop bolt either in or out until the leg of the square is
flush with the saw blade over its entire length.
Retighten the clamping handle 34. Then retighten the
locking nut of the stop screw 23.
In case the angle indicator 45 is not in alignment with
the 45° mark on the scale 50, recheck first the 0° ad
justment of the bevel angle and the angle indicator.
Then repeat the adjustment of the 45° bevel angle.
Fence
Place the electro tool in the transport position.
Rotate the saw table 17 to the detent 16 for 0°.
Checking: (see Figure
Set the combination square to 90° and place it on the
saw table 17. The square must be flush with the fence
9 over its entire length.
Adjusting: (see Figure
Loosen all three socket head screws 30 with the Allen
key 32 (6 mm) provided. Rotate the fence 9 until the
square is flush with the fence over its entire length.
Retighten the socket head screws.
