7.5. Sound settings

7.5.1. VOLUME
 Press /V O L + or /V O L – on the remote control or press the V O L U M E
- / + on the device to increase or decrease the volume. The volume level is dis-
played (maximum 40).
7.5.2. EQ (Equaliser)
 Press E Q on the remote control to select the required preset: CLASSIC,
ROCK, POP, JAZZ, FLAT.
7.5.3. Mute
 To turn off the sound completely, press the M U T E button on the remote con-
trol. The display will show MUTE. – Press M U T E or V O L U M E to restore the
sound.

8. Radio mode

You can select between the following radio modes: VHF/FM radio and DAB+.
 If necessary, press the M O D E button to select the desired radio mode. RA-
DIO INITIALIZE (VHF/FM) or WELCOME TO DIGITAL RADIO
(DAB+) will appear on the display.

8.1. Tuning

 Press the S C A N button on the device or the S C A N /  button on the re-
mote control:
− in VHF/FM mode to automatically search for the next station or hold down
the button to start the station search from the previous station.
− in DAB mode to automatically carry out a station search and save all stations
alphabetically in the station list.
 Press the  or  buttons on the device or the remote control:
− in VHF/FM mode to set a certain frequency.
− in DAB mode to directly set the next station.
 You can also manually search in DAB mode according to the frequency by hol-
ding down the S E L E C T button until MANUAL TUNE appears on the dis-
play. Now select the desired frequency using  or  and then press S E L E C T .
The selected station will be automatically added to the station list.
