Eliminating minor faults by yourself
Before you call customer service,
please check whether you can eliminate the fault
by yourself based on the following information.
Fault
The interior light does

not function.
The floor of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The refrigerating unit
switches ON ever more
switches ON ever more
frequently and longer.
The temperature display
bulb is blinking.

(Too warm in
the appliance.)
No indicator lights are lit.

Possible cause
The incandescent bulb is defective.
The light switch is jammed.
The condensation drainage pipe
is blocked.
Appliance door opened frequently.
The ventilation slots are blocked.
The appliance door has been opened
too often.
A lot of new food has been put
in the refrigerator.
The ventilation openings are blocked.
Appliance has been switched off
Power failure; the fuse has tripped;
the mains plug is not in properly.
A technician who is called out for consultation purposes
will charge the customer, even if the appliance is still
under guarantee.
Possible cause
Replacing the incandescent bulb:
1. Pull out the mains plug or switch
OFF the fuse.
2. Remove bulb cover towards
the rear.
3. Change the bulb:
(Replacement bulb, 220-240 V AC,
E14 lamp holder, see defective bulb
for wattage).
Check whether it can
be moved.

Clean the condensation channel and
the drainage pipe (see Cleaning
the appliance).
Do NOT open the door unnecessarily.
Remove any obstructions.
Do not open door unnecessarily.
Switch on the super cooling feature
before placing the food in the appliance.
Remove any obstacles.
Press the On/Off button.
Check that the power is on and check
the fuses.
