Note on compact discs
• Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped, octagonal ones). It may result in malfunc-
tions.
• Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment.
• Do not try to open the disc compartment during playing.
• Do not touch the lens. Doing so may cause malfunction.
• CD-Rs or CD-RWs playback capability at this player may vary depending on quality of media, CD
burner, speed of burning and application software.
• If there is a scratch, dirt or fingerprints on disc, it may cause tracking error. Before playing, clean the
disc with a cleaning cloth.
• Wipe the disc from the centre out. Do not store discs in places with high temperatures or high humid-
ity, they can become warped.
• After playing, store the disc in its case.
1. Slide the function switch [RADIO-TAPE (OFF)-CD] to CD position. Display shows " ".
2. Insert the USB card .
3. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/USB button on the unit to select the USB mode, the unit will auto-
matically read the total folders and the number of the total tracks.
4. Playback will start by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE/USB . Playback starts with the first track ,The
display shows the current track number.
5. To interrupt playback , press the PLAY/PAUSE/USB button. The time elapsed indicator will flash.
6. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/USB again.
7. To stop playback, press the STOP button.
Repeat playback
• Repeatedly press MODE button to select one of the following playback modes.
• Repeat One
• Repeat All
• Repeat Album
• Normal Playback
