Note:
With the function seal onlY, you can only adjust the sealing time. The evacuating
time (Vac Time) is set to 0 automatically. However, you may shortly hear the noise of
the vacuum pump during operation. This is normal. The appliance uses the generated
low pressure for getting an optimum seal.
8. With the desired sealing time on the display, press the start/on button. The vacuum
sealer will start sealing, while on the display the seal Time counts down to 0 with
the indicator arrow flashing.
9. after the sealing time has elapsed, wait a few seconds until the recently used sealing
time is shown on the display again. open the lid and remove the prepared bag.
10. ensure that the sealing is even and airtight, before filling the bag.
impOrtant:
leave the appliance cool down for at least 20 seconds after each
sealing process, before you start operation again.
11. Do not leave the appliance switched on when not in use. Press the cancel/off but-
ton for approx. 3 seconds to switch off the appliance. if you do not wish to seal
another bag, unplug the appliance.

using the Vac seal function, your bags will be evacuated before sealing.
noTe: With the evacuating time (Vac Time) set to 0, auTo is shown on the display
and automatic operation is selected, generating a pre-set low pressure in the bag. in
most cases, automatic operation is suited for vacuum packaging solid and tough food
containing only little moisture.
1. choose a bag of sufficient size. check that the bag is undamaged, before filling
it. Place the items to be sealed into the bag. at least 5 cm (2 inches) of free space
must be left between the contents and the top of the bag.
2. Place the appliance onto a suitable surface and connect it to the power supply. a
cracking noise is heart. This is normal.
3. open the lid and ensure that the dripping tray within the vacuum chamber is com-
pletely empty.
4. Place the upper rim of the bag onto the heating bar and vacuum gasket. it is crucial
that the rim of the bag completely reaches into the vacuum chamber all over. ensure
that the foil of the bag is laying smooth and without folds and gaps.
5. close the lid, slightly clamping the bag with the lid.
