The above setting data are basic
settings. Under normal conditions this
burner can be started up using these
settings. However, check the setting
values carefully in each case.
Correction may be required depending
on the plant.
Adjustment of the ionisation probe
and ignition electrode
See illustration
The air is controlled at two positions:
On the pressure side of the
–
ventilator using an air flap
In the burner head using the
–
turbulator and burner blast tube.
The air metering drum has a linear
control character and is activated by
adjusting the servomotor Y10. The set
value can be read on scale.
In addition to the mixing area and air
pressure in the burner blast tube, the
air control in the burner head affects
the quantity of air.
Turning the screw 15
clockwise = less air
–
counter-clockwise = more air
–
The position of the turbulator can be
read on scale Y.

The suction air guide 6 is set to 1 in the
factory.
Setting 1 = max. blower pressure
Setting 5 = min. blower pressure
In cases where a high blower pressure
is disadvantageous, e.g. strong
depressure in the furnace, it's possible
to reduce pressure by adjusting the air
suction guide:
• Loosen set screw 7
• Set suction air guide to a new value
• Re-tighten screw.
air check valve will subsequently react.
When adjusting the cams downwards,
or in other words so there is less air,
the new setting for the air check valves
is only configured once the burner is
started up again, or after a partial load
or a full load has passed through,
depending on the case in question.
Control cams II and III are
interconnected (full gas load
authorisation) and have to be set
in-between the position of the full load
and partial load control cams.
