Adjustments
Setting-up Procedure
To set up the lens/camera combination, first fit the lens, plug in the auto-
iris lens cable, connect the camera to a monitor and apply power to
camera and monitor.
1.
If there is no video signal, adjust "LEVEL" and "ALC" until a picture
appears on the monitor.

2.
Connect the zoom/focus control cable to the zoom/focus connector.
3.
Focus the lens.
4.
Tune the "LEVEL" and "ALC" controls for a well defined image.
Zooming and Focusing procedure:
1.
Apply zoom control signals to set the zoom to "TELE" end.
2.
Apply focus control signals and align focus.
3.
Apply the zoom control signals to set the required angle of field.
4.
If the image becomes out of focus due to zooming, adjust the back
focus (see below).
Back Focus Adjustment:
1.
Select a relatively large object (which can be easily focused).
2.
Set the zoom to "WIDE" and adjust the back focus on the camera
(refer to the camera instructions).
3.
Set the zoom to "TELE" and align the focus on the lens.
4.
Repeat the above procedures several times until image stays in focus at
both ends of the zoom range (WIDE and TELE).
