Installation of Drain Hose
• The drain hose should not be placed higher than 100
cm above the floor. Water in the appliance may not
drain or may drain slowly.
• Securing the drain hose correctly will protect the floor
from damage due to water leakage.
• If the drain hose is too long, do not force it back into
the appliance. This will cause abnormal noise.

tightly with string.

Electrical Connections (In the UK
Only)
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
Green and Yellow: Earth
Blue: Neutral
Brown: Live
This appliance must be earthed.

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
apparatus may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed
as follows:
The green and yellow wire must be connected to the
terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E or
by the earth symbol (
) or coloured Green or Green
and Yellow.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal which
is marked with the letter N or coloured Black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal which
is marked with the letter L or coloured Red.
If a 13 amp (BS 1363) plug is used, fit a 13 amp BS
1362 fuse.
