Assembly

Perform the following steps in the order shown below.
S Install button cell. Button cell is located in a recess in the packaging of the
PSION Workabout.
S Insert batteries. The battery catch must point to the left.
S Insert the flash program memory with the STG application in the upper
slot (A).
S Install read head, and screw down (MOBY D/E/F/I).
S Join antenna and PSION Workabout (MOBY U).
– Screw the PSION Workabout to the metal frame with 4 screws.
– Plug the submin D plug of the MOBY U antenna into the RS 232 interface
of the PSION Workabout and screw down.
– Slide the PSION Workabout on the guide rail of the upper housing shell of
the antenna until the lock snaps in.
Assembly is complete.
Note
After assembly, the hand-held terminal must be charged immediately
so that the button cell is not discharged unnecessarily. For informa-
tion on the lifespan of the button cell, see the included PSION
documentation.
Charging is omitted if the PSION Workabout is configured with non-
chargeable batteries instead of the standard storage batteries.
