Check the saw chain tension:

The chain s aw is supplied without saw chain oil and
fuel filling.
Fill the saw chain as described under "Chain lubric
"F uelling".

Chain lubrication

Never operate the chain saw without lubrication. Any
u se without chain saw oil may result in damage of the
chain saw and guide bar.
The durability and cutting
optimal lubrication. During operation the saw chain is
autom atically wetted with oil.

Filling up saw chain oil

Stop the engine and wear protective
gloves.
Avoid eye and skin contact.
Put the chain saw on a suitable base and unscrew the oil
tank lock 1). (1
Fill the oil tank with bio-degradable chain saw
a dhering oil (order no. 400144). For easie

When filling observe that no dirt reaches the oil tank.
Screw on the oil tank lock again.

ever use recycled oil or used oil. The guarantee expires
when using oil which is not allowed for chain saws.

Utmost care is required when h

This product is operated by a mixture from regular
petrol (unleaded) and two-stroke engine oil.
Petrol: ct O ane number at least 91 ROZ unleaded
Do not fill in leaded petrol,

Do no t use petrol having a smaller octance number
ROZ. This may lead to severe engine damage

If you frequently operate the product at high speeds, you
should use petrol with a higher octane number.
The use of unleaded petrol is recommended for envi-
ronment protection reasons.
