Proper Use
The Pocket Com PMR Profi is a walkie-talkie for the PMR range
within the 70-cm band. The device can be operated on 8 channels.
Use of the walkie-talkie is registration-free and toll-free. The prod-
uct is not splash-proof and outdoor use is therefore limited. It is
powered by three alkaline batteries or by three nickel-cadmium
storage batteries of the AA-type.
It is imperative to observe the Safety Instructions and Technical
Data.
Use other than that described above will result in
damage to this product and also involves risk of ha-
zards such as short-circuits, fire, electric shock etc.
The entire product must not be opened, modified or
converted.
Safety Instructions
This warranty will become void in the event of any
damage caused by failure to observe these Opera-
ting Instructions. We cannot accept any liability for
consequential damage.
We cannot accept any liability for damage to property or physi-
cal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the Sa-
fety Instructions. The warranty will become void in such cases.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the Pocket Com
are not permitted for safety and approval (CE) reasons. For voltage
supply of the device only use three alkaline batteries (type AA) or
three nickel-cadmium storage batteries (type AA).
Do not expose the equipment to high temperatures, humidity or se-
vere vibrations or mechanical stress.
