b) Wall plug transformer
• The design of the power adapter complies with Protection Class II.
• Use only a proper mains socket of the public mains as the voltage/current supply of the power adapter.
• The mains socket into which the power adapter is plugged must be easily accessible.
• Do not pull the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Always hold it on the sides of the casing
and pull it straight out of the mains socket.
• Protect the power adapter against humidity and dampness as well as against damage.
If the power adapter has gotten wet or damp or is damaged, do not touch it; there is a risk of fatal electrical
shock!
First, turn off the mains voltage to all poles of the mains socket to which the power adapter is connected
(e.g., switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then turn off at the ELCB).
Only then pull the power adapter out of the socket. Do not use the power adapter any more; rather, dispose
of it in an environmental friendly manner.
c) Before start-up
• Always turn on the transmitter first and then connect the flight battery to the quadrocopter. Only in this way can a
reconciliation function (digital connection) occur between transmitter and receiver, so that your model reacts reliably
to the control commands of your transmitter.
• Check the function safety of your model and of the remote control system. Pay attention to visible damages such as
broken plug-in connections or damaged cables.
All movable parts of the model must run smoothly, but should not have any play in their bearings.
• The flight battery required for operation must be charged before use.
• Always make sure that the batteries in the transmitter have a sufficient residual capacity (transmitter display). If the
batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never individual cells only.
d) During operation
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your surroundings depend on your
responsible handling of the model.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Therefore, during operation, ensure a suffi-
cient safety distance to persons, animals and objects. Never try to grab hold of the flying model with your hands!
• When you operate the model, always make sure that no body parts or objects come within the dangerous range of
the propellers.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. The influence of tiredness, alcohol or medicine can
cause incorrect responses.
