7. Installation and connection

a) Mounting the wall holder
The outdoor unit should be installed in a protected area next to the entrance door (e.g. under an
awning), so that the visitor is standing right in front of it when he pushes the button.
Proceed as follows:
• The outdoor unit should be installed at a height of approx. 1.45
to 1.50 m.
• Find an overview sketch below of the order in which mounting must take place.
• If dowels are needed to fasten the wall holder (A1) to your wall (depends on the properties),
mark the precise position of the drilling holes through the holes in the wall holder.
Install the outdoor unit only on a stable surface, but not on metal surfaces or near any
other electrical/electronic devices.
Ensure that no present cables or lines are damaged when drilling mounting holes or
screwing in.
