Cleaning
PLEASE NOTE!
•
Danger of scalding from hot device parts! Allow the device to cool down
before cleaning it.
•
Danger to life due to electrocution! Remove the plug from the mains
socket before cleaning the device. Never immerse the raclette device, the
mains cable or the plug in water. Never clean the raclette device in the dish-
washer.
•
Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.
•
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These
could damage the surface. Do not use metal objects.
•
Check the mains cord regularly for damage.
•
After each use, remove all food residues and rinse the raclette grill plate,
the hot stone, the little raclette pans, the wooden spatulas, the fondue pot
and the fondue forks with a mild cleaning agent and hot water. You can also
clean the little raclette pans, the fondue forks and the wooden spatulas in the
dishwasher.
•
If you want to clean the tray for the little raclette pans and the heating
elements, wipe them with a clean damp cloth.
•
Allow all parts to dry completely before you store the device in a clean and
dry place that is out of the reach of children.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to
rectify the problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

Is the On/Off switch at position 0?

Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
•
Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains
socket.

Check the fuse of your mains connection.
•
Is the temperature set too low? Turn the
temperature controller to a higher temperature
setting.
•
Is the temperature set too high?
