7.1 Material resistance
Do not expose the nebuliser to temperatures above 137°C. In general, like all
plastic parts, nebulisers are susceptible to wear. Nebulisers can be sterilised
up to 300 times, but then they must be replaced. Even if the nebuliser has
been sterilised fewer than 300 times, it must still be replaced after one year's
use. Note the following when selecting cleaners/disinfectants:
- In all cases, the aldehyde group of cleaning and disinfecting agents is suit-
able for cleaning and disinfecting nebulisers in the PARI LC family.
- The use of other cleaners or disinfectants has not been tested with regard
to the material resistance of this nebuliser.
7.2 Storage and transportation conditions
Do not store in damp rooms (e.g., bathrooms) or transport together with damp
objects.
Protect from continuous direct sunlight during storage and transportation.
In general, the nebuliser should be stored as described in Chapter 6
"Hygienic re-use", "Storage" between applications. See Chapter 6.3.4 ("At
home") or Chapter 6.4 ("Hospital and medical practice").
7.3 Disposal
The PARI nebuliser may be disposed of with domestic waste unless the dis-
posal regulations in the respective member countries provide otherwise (e.g.,
disposal by local authorities or dealers).
Materials recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials and pro-
tect the environment.
