•
If, in exceptional cases, the venturi tube (gas mixing tube) is blocked, it must
be cleared using a needle or a pipe cleaner.
•
Reassemble the burner & grill lid according to these instructions.
•
Clean the outside and plastic parts of your grill with a soft cotton cloth,
warm water and mild washing up liquid.
WARNING: Do not use a microfibre cloth to clean the outside – it will scratch
the material.
Recommended equipment: Stainless steel grill brush, soft cotton cloth (no
microfibre), sponge, wooden scraper, bucket, suitable grill cleaner (for interior),
mild washing up liquid, if necessary. Wire sponge (scouring pad)/steel wool,
safety goggles, disposable gloves, splash protection for the upper body (apron)
CLEANING AND CHANGING STAINLESS STEEL BURNER
WARNING: Always unscrew the gas hose and gas cylinder before
removing the burners.
1.
Release the two burner locks.
2. Scrub the burners clean with a metal brush to remove any burnt-on liquids
and rust. You can remove stubborn dirt on the outside using a metal spatula.
3.
Clear clogged flame openings with a thin metal needle (e.g. a paper clip or
sewing needle). Never use wooden toothpicks. These can break and clog the
opening.
4. If, in exceptional cases, the venturi tube (gas mixing tube) is blocked, it must
be cleared using a needle or a pipe cleaner.
5. Screw the ignition back onto the burners. Carefully insert the stainless steel
burners into the burner valves. Make sure that the nozzle tip clicks into the
venturi tube.
6. Re-attach the screws into the threads of the burner box.

CAST IRON GRID MAINTENANCE
Brush the cast iron grids after the burning-in. As a rule, no further maintenance is
required, but it is advisable to re-grease them.
If the patina is damaged and the cast iron grids start to rust, you can clean them
thoroughly, remove any rust and burn in the cast iron grids as outlined in these
instructions. If the cast iron grids do exhibit signs of rust, scrub the rusty surfaces
with steel wool until all rust has been fully removed. Then wash the cast iron with
water or a mild soapy water, dry thoroughly and repeat the seasoning process.
In winter, store cast iron grids in a dry place if possible.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
The grill should be thoroughly cleaned every 3-4 months or after long periods of
inactivity. The grease-drip tray should be burned out and emptied and the grids
cleaned after each grilling session.
Check the venturi tube at the end of the burner, especially after long periods of
inactivity. It comes equipped with an insect and spider screen. Clean the screen
with a brush.
