Risk of equipment damage:
- Never carry or pull the pump on the cable!
- Never let the pump run dry!
- The pump is not frost-proof!
- Rinse the pump before storing it dry/wintering
Maintenance and
Unplug the pump before all maintenance. The pump should be cleaned regularly,at the latest when a
decrease in the flow ra e is detected. Clean the pump and moving parts on y with c ean water. Do not
use detergents. Deposits can be removed with a cloth or soft sponge.
After al maintenance and cleaning work, check whether the pump •sstarting by briefly
plugging in the mains plug (maximum 3 seconds).Do not hold the pump in your hand,there is a risk of
injury. n this dry test, a certain amount of noise is normal. When used in water at nominal temperatures,
the pump shou d operate without noise. If necessary,check the assemb y.
Hibernation
Store the pump cleaned in a frost free room.
Disposal of the old appliance
Appliance marked with the symbol shown here must not be disposed of in the domestic refuse.You are
obliged to d'spose of such old electrical and e ectronic appliances separatey. Pleaseconsu t your oca
authority about the possibilities of organised disposal.With this environment-friend y form of disposal,
old appliances are recyc ed or used in other forms.

in the operating manual. Claimsunder guarantee will not be accepted for damage caused by improper
instal ation, incorrect or improper application (in particu ar damage to bearings or motor caused by dry
running of the pump and damage caused by the intake of sand or stones),failure to observe the safety
precautions, fau ty maintenance and the useof force or external effects (in particular fracture or damage
to the vane wheel, damage caused by scaledeposits from the water and inadequate cleaning), unau
thorised modifications to the product, damaged plugs or cables or shortened cab es, aswel as norma
wear even with proper use. Claims under guarantee wil a so not be accepted for transport damage and
for consequential damage and costs.All guarantee claimswi be voided if attempts at repair havealready
been carried out that were not performed by HEISSNER o r service centres authorised by HEISSNER. The
repair or replacement of the product resu ts neither in an extension of the guarantee period, nor is a
new guarantee period started for the appliance already replaced or repaired under guarantee or for any
spare parts instal ed. Removed parts or items for which replacements have been suppl'ed become the
property of HEISSNER GMBH
