• TIPS
Chips
When frying fresh potatoes, first rinse and dry them thoroughly to remove excess moisture and starch. Halfway
through the frying cycle, shake the basket (2, 4) and/or stir the smaller ingredients to and ensure even frying.
Cakes
Ready-made cakes prepared from a ready mix require a shorter baking time than homemade cakes. Pour the
batter into a separate tin(s) rather than directly into the basket (2, 4).
Meat
When frying large pieces of meat with excess fat and oil accumulating on the bottom of the basket (2, 4), use
heat-resistant nylon or silicone tongs to remove the products. Avoid tipping the basket (2, 4) over, as this will
cause fat and residual oil to leak onto the plate or countertop.
