7.3 Cleaning and replacing the
exhaust filter
7.3.1 Cleaning the exhaust filter
You have to clean the exhaust filter every month
if you use your homeRun daily.
Follow steps 1 and 2 in section 'Cleaning the

mesh filter' to remove the mesh filter from
the dust container.
Remove the exhaust filter (1) and clean it

with a regular vacuum cleaner (2).
Note:

The exhaust filter is not dishwasher-proof and
not waterproof.
Put the exhaust filter back into the filter

holder with the white side pointing towards
the filter holder.
Follow steps 4, 5 and 6 in section 'Cleaning

the mesh filter' to put back the mesh filter, to
reattach the filter holder and to put the dust
container back into the robot.
7.3.2 Replacing the exhaust filter
The exhaust filter needs to be replaced every six
months if you use your homeRun daily.
Follow steps 1 and 2 in section 'Cleaning the

mesh filter' to remove the mesh filter from
the dust container (1).
Insert a new exhaust filter into the filter
2
holder with the white side pointing towards
the filter holder (2).
Follow steps 4, 5 and 6 in section 'Cleaning
3
the mesh filter' to put back the mesh filter, to
reattach the filter holder and to put the dust
container back into the robot.
7.4 Cleaning the motor
protection filter
Check the motor protection filter every six
months. Clean the filter if it is dirty.
Follow steps 1 to 3 in section 'Emptying
1
the dust container' to remove the dust
container compartment cover and take
out the dust container.
Remove the motor protection filter from

the robot and clean it with a regular
vacuum cleaner.
Place the motor protection filter back.

Follow steps 7 to 9 in section 'Emptying the

dust container' to place the dust container
back into the robot and to place the dust
container compartment cover back onto
the robot.
