Operating the FAKTO Rollator

Make yourself familiar with your new walking aid prior to the first walking experi-
ence.
Before starting the operation your rollator needs to be adjusted for your individual
demands. Part of this adjustment is the height and angle adjustment of the push
tubes including the push grips and the connection of the brake cable clips to the
seat.
Unfold the rollator by spreading the front and rear fame in opposite directions until
it blocks. Secure the locking lever to the down position (Pic. 2) . Immediately lock
both park brakes. The rollator must now be standing secure and all wheels must
touch the ground surface evenly (Pic. 1).

Folding and Locking

7.1
1. After each time the rollator is unfolded and ready
for operation, the locking action must be properly
locked by operation of the locking lever. On locked,
the lever must be engaged in the down position!
2. In order to fold the rollator the locking lever must
be pushed to the upper position. Only than can it
be folded.
Never operate the rollator when the proper op-
eration of the locking lever is not possible.
Always pay full attention when locking/unlocking
the rollator. Nearby parts could lead to impinge-
ment of fingers or hands.
