Das Gerät arbeitet nach dem Kondensationsprinzip. Der niedrigste Feuchtigkeitsgehalt, der erreicht werden kann, beträgt je nach Temperatur ca. 35 – 40 % r.F. Systembeschreibung Die feuchte Raumluft wird mittels eines Ventilators über den am Kühlaggregat angeschlos- senen Verdampfer geführt.

Das Gerät arbeitet automatisch, d. h., sobald der eingestellte Trockengrad erreicht ist, schal- tet der Entfeuchter ab und beginnt erst bei Wiederanstieg der Feuchtigkeit von Neuem zu arbeiten.

Die Lager des Ventilatormotors sind mit einer Dauerschmierung versehen und bedürfen keiner Wartung. Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch ohne Reinigungsmittel abwischen Luftfilter auf der Rückseite des Gerätes an der Unterkante anheben und herausziehen Filtermatte aus dem Filterrahmen lösen, (Bügel entfernen) im lauwarmen Wasser auswa- schen.

Ist die Luftzirkulation um das Gerät herum und im Raum gewährleistet? Ist die Raumtemperatur zu hoch oder zu niedrig (siehe Rubrik Aufstellung)? Sind der Filter und die Verdampferschlangen sauber? Sollte die Kontrolle obiger Punkte zu keinem Erfolg führen, so muss das Gerät einem Fach- mann (Kältespezialisten) zur Inspektion übergeben werden.
