Overview of accessories

Before fi rst use
ATTENTION!
■ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. Danger of suffocation
exists!
■ Burn hazard! The device is very hot during use and afterwards! When setting up the
device, make sure you choose an area with adequate space on all sides and above
it (at least 10 cm on the sides and 30 cm above) in order to prevent the accumulation
of heat.
1. Unpack the device and make sure that the scope of delivery is complete (see chap-
ters "Device overview" and "Overview of accessories") and check for any damages
from transport. Should you identify any transport damage, do not use the device(!);
instead please promptly consult the customer service.
2. There may be some production residue stuck to the device. To avoid health risks,
clean the bowl and the accessories parts thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter
"Cleaning").
3. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and even surface at a suffi cient distance to
fl ammable objects. Please ensure that the device is not accessible to children.
4. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed 220–240 V socket with earthing contacts.
5. The fi rst time you use the device, do so without food as residual coating could cause
a small amount of odour or smoke to form. Let the device heat up for approx. 10–15
minutes with any content. In the process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e.g.
with windows that have been opened wide! For start-up, also observe the notes in the
chapters "Start-up" and "Use".
6. Then let the device cool off completely and clean the bowl again.

Grilling grate
It can be used e.g. for grilling meat, fi sh and vege-
tables as well as for crisping up baked goods such
as rolls etc.
The grilling grate can also be used as a rack for
e.g. cake pans.
Grill basket with removal handle
The grill basket is suitable for e.g. preparing fresh
food like fries, roast potatoes, grilled vegetables
etc. as well as frozen foods like fries, croquettes
etc.
The removal handle is used to take out the grill
basket out of the device.
