2.3.2

Water supply connection for the High Pressure Cleaner

CAUTION Operate the High Pressure Cleaner only with clean water. The
water inlet temperature must not exceed 30 °C (for series HDE
60 °C).
The assembly of the water supply have to comply to DIN 1988 (Drinking water
regulations for assembly and use). Observe the local planning authority regula-
tions.
The water supply capacity must ensure a minimum of 1500 l/h by a hydraulic
pressure between 1 bar and 6 bar.
Equip the water supply with a shut off valve.
Connect the water supply with a min. 1/2" flexible water hose to the High Pres-
sure Cleaner.
2.3.3

Cleaning equipment assembly

Connect high pressure hose (example see 6, figure 10) with trigger gun (7, figu-
re 10) and device high pressure outlet. Attach high pressure nozzle (10, figure
10) to lance (9, figure 10).
2.3.4 Electrical connection for High Pressure Cleaners series HD and HDE
WARNING According to safety regulations all voltage supplied equipment
(e.g. machines, devices, cables, electrical power outlets etc.) in
the working area must be hoseproofed.
Connect the High Pressure Cleaner power cable only to
grounded electrical power outlets compliant with the safety
regulations.
The electrical connectors must not lay on the ground and must
always be dry. Do not touch electrical connectors with wet hands.
The facility electrical power outlet has to be compliant with the voltage value on
the machine type plate (example see 1, figure 9).
The facility electrical power supply must be equipped with the proper fuse (see
technical data in section 1.4 or wiring diagrams in section 4).

Depending on High Pressure Cleaner type and extension cable length, the
wire cross sections have to be as follows:
Series HD: up to 30 m cable length
Series HDE: 12 - 18 kW heat. capacity
Series HDE: 24 kW heat. capacity
Do not connect the AC power cable to the electrical facility AC power outlet, be-
fore commissioning the High Pressure Cleaner according to section 2.4.
2.3.5 Fuel oil supply for High Pressure Cleaners series HD, HDB and HDD
WARNING Use only fuel as referred in the description below. Otherwise the
High Pressure Cleaner safety may be affected.
CAUTION An interrupted fuel supply (e.g. empty fuel tank) for a longer pe-
riod may damage the fuel pump.
NOTE Do not use contaminated, hydrated or sulfurous heating oil. Oth-
erwise burner troubles or damage to the High Pressure Cleaner
may result.
Fill up fuel oil tank of series HD (4, figure 10), series HDB (1, figure 14) and
HDD (1, figure 17) with light fuel oil EL or diesel oil.
Use only diesel oil or home heating oil 51 603.
