Initial use of the watch
Prior to initial use of the watch, you should wind the
watch by hand. This ensures a sufficient power reserve
for the watch to continue running precisely after the
exact setting of the second hand. Here is how you
wind your watch:
Turn the crown in the direction of 6 o'clock until it
releases from the winding stem/thread. The crown
is now in Position 1 , the winding position (also
see page 3).
Turn the freely rotating crown 20 to 25 times
clockwise or in the direction of 12 o'clock.
Now the date and time can be set.
