Changing the battery
A change of batteries becomes necessary
when "LO" appears on the display, or when
nothing at all is displayed.
1. Use a fine cross-head screwdriver to
remove the screw from the battery
compartment cover.
2. Fold down the battery compartment
cover.
3. Push the battery against the contact
spring underneath the large square
retaining tabs and remove it from the
battery compartment.
4. Insert the new battery with the plus pole
(+) facing upwards. Push the battery
against the contact spring under the
large square retaining tabs until it is fully
seated in the battery compartment.
The battery should snap into place on
the opposite retaining lugs.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover.
The locking tab must snap securely into
place.
6. Screw the cross-head screw back in.

‚ Only use the type of battery
that is specified in the
"Technical data".
‚ Pay attention to the correct
polarity (+/-) when inserting the
battery. The plus pole (+) must
point upwards.
‚ Dispose of the old battery in an
environmentally responsible
way (see "Disposal").
