• During operation and especially when switching on the motor, the appliance
could move on the table or counter due to vibrations. Thus, always ensure to keep
the appliance in sufficient distance to the edge of the table or counter and to other
objects. Leave at least 20 cm of free space on each side. Leave at least 50 cm of
free space above the appliance to get unhindered access.
• This appliance is NOT intended for use by persons (including children) with red-
uced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and know-
ledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must always be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or any parts of the
appliance or the packaging. Always keep the appliance where it is dry, frost-free,
and clean, and where young children cannot reach it. Do not leave the appliance
or any part of it unattended, when in reach of young children.
• Do not place the appliance or any part of it on or near hot surfaces (e.g. burner,
heater, or oven). Do not use any parts of the appliance with any other device or
for any purpose not described in this booklet. Before plugging in, always ensure
that the appliance is assembled completely and correctly according to the instruc-
tions in this booklet. Do not handle the appliance or any part of it with violence.
DO NOT open the locking arms with the appliance still running.
• Do not use any hard, sharp or edged objects (e.g. knives, forks) with the appli-
ance. Only use the provided pusher to press down your food. Keep your hands,
hair, clothing, as well as any foreign objects away from the feed chute, while the
appliance is connected to the power supply, to avoid the risk of severe injuries
and damage. Do not hold your face over the feed chute during operation to avoid
injuries due to particles of your food splashing out of the feed chute.
• To avoid overheating, with soft ingredients do not operate the motor continuously
for more than 15 minutes at a time. Allow the motor to rest for 10 minutes before
continuing. Do not apply too much pressure on the pusher, to avoid overheating
and that the motor gets stuck. If the motor gets stuck, immediately switch OFF
(touching ON/OFF button) and unplug the appliance. Then clean the filter basket
according to the instructions in chapter 'Care and Cleaning'.
• Before operation, always ensure that there are no foreign objects in the feed chu-
te or filter basket and the locking arms are closed properly. Ensure that the motor
base will not tilt or wobble on the table or counter.
• Only use the appliance for processing edible food and remove inedible parts and
all packages before processing. Hard ingredients (e.g. dry corn kernels, nuts,
seeds) may not be processed as they would damage the blades. Do not overfill
the feed chute. If the blades get stuck or agitate noticeably slow, or the pulp accu-
mulates excessively in the filter basket, immediately stop operation (touch ON/
OFF button), unplug the appliance and remove any obstacles in the filter basket
