6.2. Air filter maintenance
A dirty air filter blocks air intake to the carburetor. Clean the filter periodically.
If the workplace is very dirty, maintenance should be more frequented.
Notices:
• When the air filter is not mounted, do not operate the engine, otherwise
dirt will enter the engine causing the life of the engine to be shortened .
• Remove butterfly, remove filter cover, then remove filter element.
• Clean the item with a non-flammable solvent. Then let dry.
• Soak the element in clean engine oil, remove excess oil, otherwise the
engine will smoke when starting.
• Reassemble the air filter and cap.
6.3. Spark plug maintenance:
To ensure a normal start, make sure the spark plug space is correct, and
there are no traces of carbon.
• Remove spark plug cap and remove excess soil.
Notice:
• When the engine is running, the exhaust is very hot. Do not touch the
exhaust.
