The DURESS-Code:
The DURESS-function of the keypad uses following rules to access the DURESS-codes: Every „user code plus 2
points in the first digit of the code" will become a DURESS-code automatically. To prevent an overlapping of a
DURESS-code with a user code the system blocks the two number sequences plus and minus 2 points in the first
digit of the code after successfully saving the user code. (E.g. to the user code „53333" the number sequences
„33333" as well as „83333" are blocked and the keypad will refuse to accept these numbers as additional user-
codes.)
When a wrong code is entered 10 times consecutively the DURESS-function will block the keypad completely.
The contact can be activated by entering a DURESS-Code as well. To unblock the keypad again you need a user
code 1.
Installation:
•
Open the keypad by removing the screw which is situated downside of the device.
•
Use the back of the operating sector as drilling template.
•
Screw now this back onto the wall.
•
Occupy all desired contacts of the terminal block.
•
Join the keypad together again.
•
Now run all necessary wires.
It is highly recommended to leave the installation to a qualified service agent.
