Tips
¡ Wash new sponge cloths thor-
oughly to remove any salt adher-
ing to them. Salt can cause rust
film to develop on stainless steel
surfaces.
¡ Always remove any residues of
limescale, coffee, milk and clean-
ing/descaling solutions immedi-
ately to prevent corrosion.
10.3 Cleaning the appliance

Rinse the water tank with fresh,

for a long time, e.g. after a holiday,
clean the entire appliance, includ-
ing moving parts such as the brew-
ing unit or water tank.
Note: The appliance will rinse itself
automatically if you switch it on when
it is cold or switch it off after it has
dispensed coffee. The system is
therefore self-cleaning.
10.4 Cleaning the drip tray
and coffee dregs con-
tainer
Clean and empty the drip tray and
coffee dregs container every day to
prevent deposits. Follow the illus-
trated instructions at the beginning of
this manual.
