Recording with Audacity

Saving a Project
The software saves all recorded audio files in a folder named Projectname_data, located in the folder where you save
the project.
• Select SAVE PROJECT AS... in the FILE menu and indicate a folder and file name for your project.
When starting Audacity for the first time, all menu items except for SAVE PROJECT AS... are greyed
out.
Record function
• Play the desired song or record to be recorded on the record player.
• Press the recording button to start the recording.
• Press the Pause button to interrupt the recording.
• Press the key again in order to continue recording.
• Press the STOP button to stop the recording.
