OPERATIONS
If the position of the stylus tip is out of three lines, adjust
the height of the stylus tip as follows.
@ Remove the tracking force adjustment weight by
rotating in a counterclockwise direction.
@ Pull out the main weight upwards.
© Adjust the height of the stylus tip as shown in the
illustration so that the position of the stylus tip is on
the same level as the centre line of the three lines.
The adjustment screw is in the hole for the tracking
force adjustment weight and the screw
driver is
packed in the accessory box.
@ After adjustment, assemble the tonearm same as
before and adjust the tracking force again.
LEAD-IN POSITION ADJUSTMENT
When the stylus does not drop onto the record at the
correct position in automatic play, check the horizontal
placing of the unit. If the unitis inclined, adjust the height
of the legs and keep the horizontal placing. (See Fig. 15)
The lead-in position adjustment should be done after
above checking. The procedures of the lead-in position
adjustment are as follows.
@ Remove the rubber cap from the lead-in adjustment
screw.
Ө Place a LP disc record (12" record) on the platter.
© Adjust the lead-in adjustment screw so that the stylus
drops in just the correct position.
ROTATIONAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Rotational speed of the platter, can be checked through
the stroboscope window and is adjusted by turning the
speed adjustment knobs.
For example, to check 33 r.p.m. speed using 50 Hz
power supply, observe the inside pattern. When the
pattern is stationary, the speed is 33-1/3 r.p.m. When
the pattern flows in the direction of the platter rotation,
the speed is too fast. Adjustment in this case is made by
turning the upper speed adjustment knob in the direction
of S (slow). If the pattern moves in the opposite direc-
tion, turn the knob in the direction of F (fast) until the
pattern is stationary.
