10.7. Garage door bracket installation
Fig. 32: close the door after the opener hoisting installation is completed. The centreline
of No.2 (door bracket) must be aligned and coincide with door centreline of No.1
header (the highest piece of the door). The distance from horizontal position of door
bracket to door header should be 30mm-50mm. Use four self-drill screws (No.3) to
install the door bracket. Note: If the installation hole is not provided, the electric hand
drill can be used to drill four holes, the diameter is not less than 5mm.

10.8. Drawbar installation
Close the door; pull down handle of No.1 (clutch) – Fig. 33. The horizontal distance
between the grip and door should be 200mm-300mm. Use two pins to plug the straight
drawbar (No.3) to the connection hole of No.1 (clutch). Use bent drawbar No.6 to the
connection hole of No.4 (door bracket).
Use No.5 (double R elastic pin) to connect. Then use two No.2 to connect straight
drawbar and bent drawbar, and use flange hexagonal header nut M8 (No.7) to lock
them tightly.
Adjust the rope length of the clutch pull handle. Adjust so that the height from the
clutch handle to the ground is not less than 1.8 meter.

11. PHOTO BEAM INSTALLATION – OPTIONAL
11.1. Photo beam location
Photo beam is an infrared protection system. If a
person or an obstacle interrupts the infrared beam
when doors are closing, the opener will stop working
instantly and will go back to full opening position
automatically.
As shown in Fig. 34 fix photo beam brackets on the
left and right wall outside the vertical tracks with
expanding screws or self-drill screws. Install the photo
beam inside the brackets with M6 screws. Keep the
bracket horizontal at all time, if the two sides front
wall is not on a horizontal surface (the photo beam
axis should be on the same line), the gaskets should
be used to adjusting. Place the photo beam far from
the door hole to avoid the sun shining on them.

GD-800, GD-800M garage openers only.
12.1. Function settings

Opener is equipped with 7 LED and one digital display showing all information. As
shown in Fig. 35 ready status is being signalized by flashing symbol "–", it indicates the
position of the door: symbol "–" at the top of the display indicates opening position; at
the middle indicates position between opening and closing, at bottom position indicates
closing. While running, the digital display flashes quickly with "–".
