Back Tension Adjustment
Put a specific jig onto the hub of the reel support and use a
tension gauge to pull the reel at a steady speed until the gauge's
indication becomes stabilized. (Figure 23)
Note:
Before the measurement, be sure to set the tape counter.
The
values indicated here are the ones obtained when the jig to be
used is 20 mm in diameter.
Head Azimuth Adjustment
(Figure 24)
1. Set the bass and treble controls respectively at "Center"
position and play back a test tape (6.3 kHz, —10 dB).
2. Turn the azimuth screw to adjust so that the pointer of a
VTVM
swings to its full extent.
3. Turn the tape over to play back its other side and make
sure that a VIVM indicates the same value as before.
4. After this adjustment, tighten the azimuth screw.
Adjustment of Equalizer (Figure 25)
1. Set the bass and treble controls respectively at "Center"
position and play back a test tape (1 kHz, —10 dB) and
adjust the control RB94 to make a VI'VM indicate 0 dB.
2. With the same
test tape where the signal is, however,
changed from 1 kHz, — 10 dB to 8 kHz, — 10 dB, adjust
the RB-90 to let a VIVM indicate 0 dB also.
Record Bias Adjustment
(Figure 26)
In Record mode, adjust the RB-91 to let a VT VM read 3.7 mV.

Finstellung der Gegenspannung
Eine geeignete Einspannvorrichtung auf die Saviedachse stec-
ken; die Spule mit einem Spannungsmesser gleichmafig ziehen,
bis die MeBanzeige konstant wird. (Siehe Abb. 23).
Anmerkung:
Das Bandlangenzadhlwerk vor der Messung stellen.
Die hier
angegebenen Were heziehen sich auf einen Vorrichtungsdurch-
messer von 20 mm.
Einstellung des Tonkopf-Azimuts
(Abb. 24)
1. Den BafBS- und Hohenregler in die Mittelstellung drehen und |
eine Prtifcassette (6,3 kHz, —10 dB) abspielen.
2. Die Azimutschraube drehen, so dag der RVM-Zeiger voll
ausschlagt.
3. Die Cassette umdrehen und die andere Seite abspielen; sich
|
uberzeugen, dali das RVM denselben Wert wie vorher an-
zeigt.
4. Die Azimutschraube sich dieser Einstellung festziehen.
Einstellung der Frequenzgangentzerrung
(Abb. 25)
1. Den BaB- und Hohenregler in die Mittelstellung drehen und
eine Priifcassette (1 kHz, —10 dB) abspielen; den Regler
RB94 so abgleichen, daB das RVM 0 dB -nzeigt.
2. Den RB-90 mit demselben Band, aber mit anderem Signal
(geindert von 1 kHz, —10 dB auf 8 kHz, — 10 dB) so ab-
gleichen, daB das RVM ebenfalls 0 dB anzeigt.
Einstellung der Aufnahme-Vormagnetisierung
(Abb. 26)
Den RB-91 wahrend der Aufnahme so regeln, da} das RVM 3,7
mV anzeigt.
