Usage
Type 2667 is intended for connection to charge type accelerometers in areas with potential risk of explosi-
ons, when monitoring plant machinery in harsh environments, for industrial machine installations and for
gas turbine applications requiring long mean time between failures.
The type 2667 has a differential input which improves the signal/noise ratio in strong electromagnetic
fields when used together with balanced accelerometers, such as BK-Vibro Type 5704.
To protect the Type 2667 from harsh environmental conditions, such as EMC, humidity and vibration, it
must be mounted in an electrically shielded junction box in conformity with IP 65, as available from Brüel
& Kjær Vibro. Type 2667 may be supplied in a number of versions when other amplification factors or filte-
ring ranges are required. The 2667 is an intrinsically safe equipment.
It is suitable to be used in hazardous areas (ATEX).
The use of a 2667 sensor is only permitted according to the specifcations stated in this manual. The use
of this sensor serves exclusively the purpose of measuring mechancial vibrations.
Type 2667 is available in a number of versions when other amplification factors or filtering ranges are
required.
