WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS APPLIANCE
• Always place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
• Check that the mains voltage matches what is indicated on the appli-
ance rating plate before connecting it to an earthed socket.
• Certain parts of the appliance may become hot. Do not touch them to
avoid getting burnt.
• The appliance must be able to dissipate its heat, so it should not be
covered. Give it sufficient space.
• Never immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other
liquid or hold it under running water.
• Do not pick up the appliance when it has fallen into water. Unplug the
power cord immediately. Do not use it anymore.
• Make sure your hands are dry when touching the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance, cord and plug do not come into contact
with heat sources such as a hob or oven fire.
• Unplug the power cord when you are not using the appliance. Pull
the plug, not the cord.
• Check regularly that the cord is still intact. If damaged, do not use the
appliance any longer, but submit it to the manufacturer or a technical
service department for repair.
• The appliance must not be operated by means of an external timer or
remote control system.
• Switch off the appliance before moving it.

experience and knowledge, but only under supervision or if they have
been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand its
potential hazards.
• Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children unless

• Keep the appliance and the cord out of reach of children up to 8
years old.
• Children should be monitored to ensure they do not play with the ap-
