a) Inserting batteries into the remote sensor
• Remove the three screws from the battery compartment cover by using an
appropriate screwdriver.
• Select the desired channel number by using the slide switch "CHANNEL".
Each remote sensor must have different channel numbers!
• Insert two (AAA) micro batteries according to the correct polarity. The
respective figure in the battery compartment will help you to do this, see
also figure below.
• Attach the battery compartment cover to the unit and carefully tighten the
screws.
Please note:
The unit can only recognize a channel number change of the
remote sensor, if you have removed the batteries or pressed the
"RESET" button on the remote sensor.

1. By pressing the "CHANNEL" button (internal sensor, remote sensor 1, 2 or
3), you first select the desired sensor whose maximum/minimum
temperature and humidity readings you wish to view.
2. Briefly press the "MEM" button. The maximum temperature and humidity
readings of the selected sensor will appear on the display. In addition,
"MAX" will be displayed.
Pressing the "CHANNEL" button will display the maximum
readings of the next selected sensor.
3. Press the "MEM" button again. On the display appear the minimum
temperature and humidity readings. "MIN" will be displayed.
Pressing the "CHANNEL" button will display the minimum readings
of the next selected sensor.
4. By pressing the "MEM" button again, the display returns to the current value
display.
To clear the memory, hold down the "MEM" button for two
seconds. You will hear a signal indicating that the maximum/
minimum temperature readings are cleared now.
If you press the "MEM" button, the readings displayed will
correspond to the current temperature and humidity readings until
different values are measured by the unit.
e) Toggling between °C/°F temperature units
On the back of the base unit, there is a small slide switch by means of which
you can select the desired temperature unit (°C = degree Celsius, °F = degree
Fahrenheit).
f) Auto scan function for remote sensors
The temperature and humidity readings of the internal and remote sensors can
be switched automatically (switching about every 3 seconds).
• To activate this function, press and hold the "CHANNEL" button for three
seconds, a short signal tone will be heard.
