6.7 Assigning User Rights

Preparation
• Call up the Setup menu.
•
Activate PGT-10-Pro password protection using the Set Password Protection func‐
tion and enter a password.
NOTE
Password protection is only activated for the Setup menu. Available functions are
limited when user rights are assigned. User rights can also be set without a password.
Assigning User Rights
• Call up the Setup menu.
• Determine user rights using the Set User Rights function in accordance with the
following table:

Unrestricted access to all functions of the PGT- 10-Pro.
Access to adjustments for resolution, electrical interface and zero
position only.
Access to "Set zero pulse position" only.
Access to "Set preset position" only.
Access to encoder programming from SD card and read functions
only.
Access to read functions only.
