NOTE: The green "Detect" LED indicates a change in one of the track sections by briefl y fl ashing,
i.e. changes may also have occurred in several track sections at the same time which are not
displayed separately.
Programming button:
• Pressing for 1 second until max. 2 seconds: Confi gura-
tion starts and white "Program" LED fl ashes
• Switch solenoid (e.g. turnout command) to the desired
address
• Address is taken over by the Z21
• If no entry is made, the programming mode is automati-
cally exited after 60 seconds
• Pressing for 8 seconds: Reset to factory settings

feedback system.
The Z21 - Detector X16 provides you with information on the status of defi ned track sections. This is espe-

cially useful if parts of your system are not visible (e.g. staging yards) or if you want to have the occupied
status of the tracks displayed on your automation software or on the signal box of your Z21
