FIRST USE
Before first use, ensure that the voltage, frequency and power of your appliance are suitable for your electrical sup-

Before switching on your appliance, ensure that :
• the appliance is completely assembled as described in the safety instructions and it's user guide,
• the appliance is placed on a stable, horizontal surface,
• the appliance is positioned in accordance with the instructions given in this manual.

• REMOTE CONTROL :
The remote control uses 1 x 3V button cell CR2032 which is included.
At the first use, take the small plastic strap out of the batteries location at the bottom of the appliance.
To change the remote's battery, remove it from it's compartment then place the new one making sure that
you put it in with the positive and negative ends the right way round as shown in the battery compartment.
When you use the appliance for the first time, it may temporarily release a faint odour and smoke (this is per-
fectly normal for new appliances: it will disappear after a few minutes).
IMPORTANT : You are advised to unplug the appliance when not in use.
IN CASE OF ANY PROBLEM
Do not disassemble the appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance may be dangerous for the user.
If the product does not work make sure the product is on a honrizontal and flat surface.
Do not use the appliance and contact an Approved Service Centre if :
• your appliance or its power cord are damaged;
• your appliance no longer functions properly.

N.B. : In the event of abnormal overheating, safety devices automatically shut down the appliance and then
restart it, in standby mode, once it has cooled down.
If the problem continues or gets worse, take the appliance to an approved service centre.
The appliance is equipped with a thermal fuse that shuts the device down in the event of a defect.

Your appliance contains many materials which can be recovered or recycled.
Take it to a collection point or an approved service centre for processing.
For the battery : help us look after the environment, by not throwing away your used batteries. Instead,
bring them to anyone of the special battery collection points. Do not throw them away with your house-
