4.3 Switching on
Slide the on-/ off button (9) on the side of the controller (2) to position 1 ( I ), to switch the electric blanket on.
When it is switched on, the LED-indicator for temperature setting 1 lights up.
4.4 Setting the temperature
Press the button (7) to increase the temperature.
Press the button (8) to decrease the temperature.
Position 1:
minimum warmth
Position 2-5:
individual warmth
Position 6:
maximum warmth
CAUTION
If the electric underblanket is being used over several hours, we
reccomend that you set the lowest temperature setting (1) on the
controller to avoid overheating the person using the blanket.
NOTE
• The foot area of this electric underblanket is heated to a greater temperature than the rest of the blanket.
• The fastest way to warm up the electric underblanket is to initially set the highest temperature setting.
• We strongly recommend switching on the electric underblanket approx. 30 minutes before going to bed and
covering it with the duvet in order to prevent heat loss.
4.5 Switching off
Slide the on-/ off button (9) at the side of the controller to position 0, to switch the electric blanket off.
Only the red LED on the transformer is then lit. When you remove the mains plug from the socket, the red LED on the transformer also
switches off.

If the electric underblanket is not being used for several days, slide the ON/OFF switch [9] to the OFF ( 0 ) position and remove the
mains plug from the socket.
4.6 Automatic switch off
This electric underblanket switches off automatically after 12 hours. Once the electric underblanket has switched off, it is no longer
heated and the LED for temperature setting 1 flashes.
To switch on the electric underblanket again, first set the ON/OFF switch on the side of the controller to the OFF ( 0 ) position for 5
seconds. Then set the ON/OFF switch back to ON ( I ) and select the desired temperature setting.

cleaning & maintenance
WARNING
Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning the electric blanket. Otherwise,
this could cause an electric shock. Then remove the controller from the electric underblanket by
disconnecting the plug-in connector.
CAUTION
• The controller and the transformer must never come into contact with water or other liquids. Otherwise,
this could damage them.
To clean the controller and transformer, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Small marks on the electric underblanket can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge, or if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for
delicate laundry.
